As the social sciences department, our major goal is to first of all raise individuals who know how to ask questions, have different point of views and who are productive. While providing our students the necessary academic courses, it is also our major principle to help them understand the values of being a human. Our most important goal is to raise individuals who comprehend the disciplines within the social sciences field and apply them to their lives and love their country and nation. 

Our goal in geography course; is to help the students make their own inferences by their interpretations within geography's causality, distribution and mutual interaction by leading them to know the region, country and world they live in by using the technological means and data communication systems in the 21st century which is an era of technology and communication.
